Guardian software not supported for all netfirms.com accounts
Web host netfirms.com may not support custom error pages. It depends on your account type:

Free Hosting Plans
If you have the netfirms free hosting plan, then .htaccess is not supported.
Without .htaccess, custom errors do not work, and consequently Guardian does not work.

Paid Hosting Plans
If you have a paid hosting plan, you must first go to the Site Tools menu in their account control panel and then enable .htaccess parsing. After that is done, then Guardian will work. See:
This behavior was verified on 2002-05-01, 2002-08-04, 2003-04-09, and 2004-02-21.
