Support for proprietary FDSE-Keywords, FDSE-Description, FDSE-Robots META headers
Whenever FDSE extracts a META header from a document - such as "description" or "keywords" - it will first check to see if there is a META header of the same name but with "fdse-" prepended to it. If such a header exists, its value will be used in place of the actual META header, if any.
This can be used to allow FDSE to index a web page while preventing access to other crawlers:
<meta name="robots" content="none" /> <meta name="fdse-robots" content="all" />
This can be used to trick FDSE into not following a META refresh:
<meta name="refresh" content="0;URL=new.html" /> <meta name="fdse-refresh" content="" />
This feature was added with version 2.0.0.0038.
